Jabiru Pty Ltd (ABN 54101631421) trading as NCAPP Australia (collectively, us, we, or our) is committed to protecting the personal information that our Clients provide to us in connection with the product and service owned and operated by NCAPP. This privacy policy will tell you how we host, use, disclose, store, secure, and dispose of the personal information our clients provide to us.

Personal Information

We may host, use, store, and transfer personal information as reasonable necessary to provide NCAPP.

The types of personal information that we may host include: identifying information, such as name and data of birth; contact details such as email address, home address and telephone numbers; financial information; technical data (such as IP addresses); usage data and web analytics (such as how you use our NCAPP); and sensitive information (including health information).

We only host sensitive information (including health information) where it is reasonably necessary for, or directly relates to, the functions or activities of NCAPP.

Data in relation to minors

The nature of the service that we provide means that we may host, store, and process personal information of children. We ensure that we have technical and organisational measures to safeguard personal information in relation to children.

Hosting of Personal Information

Our Clients upload personal information onto the NCAPP platform, including:

  • when a client provides, uploads, or edits data in accordance with the operation of NCAPP, and
  • direct interactions, such as when completing a form on NCAPP website or communicating via phone, email, or in person.
  • Third parties also upload personal information, including when:

  • NCAPP retrieves data from a third party for use in NCAPP platform, or
  • a user provides data which can be used by NCAPP platform for use with a third party, such as authentication or storage via Microsoft or Google.
  • Use of Personal Information

    Each Client is responsible for:

  • ensuring that it has obtained any required consents to provide NCAPP with personal information,
  • the accuracy and completeness of the personal information provided to NCAPP,
  • providing any required notices in the provision on personal information to NCAPP.
  • The personal information provided by our clients is used to carry out our business functions, including:

  • to supply NCAPP services;
  • to improve and develop the products and services we provide through NCAPP;
  • to communicate with you; and
  • to comply with legal obligations.
  • The personal information hosted in NCAPP is used as required and permitted by law.

    Disclosures of your personal information

    In providing NCAPP, we may disclose personal information to third party providers who provide integrated solutions, such as Office 365 or other online services where it is reasonably necessary to supply NCAPP, or where we are required or authorised by law to do so.

    The privacy policies of third parties may be inconsistent with NCAPP’s privacy policy, and the privacy standards of third parties cannot be guaranteed. However, we only engage reputable service providers.

    Data retention and storage

    NCAPP is committed to keeping personal information secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have physical and electronic procedures to safeguard information and protect it from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access.

    We will retain the personal information you provide to us with your consent and for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfil the purposes we hosted it for, including in order to satisfy legal requirements.

    Complaints

    NCAPP is intended for use by educational organisations.

    Where NCAPP is made available through an organisation (e.g. school, archdiocese, governing body, or government), that organisation is responsible for the accuracy and quality of the personal information it provides to NCAPP.

    We are not responsible for the privacy or security practices of any other organisation.

    All other complaints and inquiries can be addressed to your NCAPP contact.

    We take your privacy seriously, and we will respond as possible after receiving your complaint.

    Changes to this policy

    We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be available on our website.
